Currently I have a plan with Limelight Networks that is up in a 2 months, I am looking for a much cheaper streaming video server for my business. Limelight is nice because I can just log into their server through IE and just drag my files to their server then just insert the url of the video into dreamweaver. I am looking though for something a little cheaper, we get about 100 hits a day on our site and our current plan is for way higher volume I believe. So what is a good server I can do the same thing with but cheaper?

You might consider a pay-as-you-go type of service with your small volume. I’m using Streaming Video Provider for that purpose and they have way more features than Limelight especially in the embedding and customization part. For me the prepaid packages are the cheapest option – no monthly costs and you can get a bargain on a larger package once you get your usage. Also scaling with limelight is a nightmare way too expensive IMO.
